Easter Sunday March 31 // 9+11 a.m.
4142 Westerville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43224

The empty tomb, as an enduring symbol of the Resurrection, is the ultimate representation of Jesus’ claim to being God. The apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:17 that the Resurrection is the very linchpin of the Christian faith: “if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.”

When Jesus rose from the dead, he defeated the evils of sin and death. Now he calls us to wake up and leave our grave clothes behind as well, to welcome our new life in Christ.

Lent Sermon Series

Eugene Peterson, in his contemplative style, underscores the relational aspect of an encounter with Jesus, affirming, "Jesus meets us in the ordinariness of our lives, transforming the mundane into sacred moments of encounter." The Gospel of John offers profound and intimate encounters with Jesus that are reflections of our own personal and divine appointments with the savior. It’s in these catalytic moments where we become aware of our brokenness and develop a greater longing for wholeness. Are we ready to be transformed by Jesus?

Worship

As a worship community we strive to create a space where, regardless of your worship style, musical preference or religious background, you can be comfortable to express yourself as the Holy Spirit leads. As a racially diverse church, we are intentional about our worship: infusion Gospel, modernized hymns and contemplative moments.

Families

Child care is provided for children nursery through 5th grade. We do have a cap for each classroom; first-come, first-served.

Dress

It’s Easter, so we’re sure to see lots of folks in their Sunday best, bright colors and more. However, at Sanctuary, we encourage you to come as you are – no pressure to dress up.. We welcome you whether you’re in sweats or a suit.
