Ephesians 6:15 (NIV)
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

DEVO

The first church dealt with a great deal of external and internal problems such as oppression, violence, division, poverty, etc. Their go to response to it all was prayer. Jesus modeled constant prayer for us, and entrusted us, the followers of Christ, with a calling to pray. Although we are all created with different giftings and for various kingdom purposes, Jesus has entrusted us all with a duty of care, which starts with prayer in different seasons for all of God’s children. The Lord teaches us that in order to be vigilant, prepared and persevere in all situations, we are required to practice the presence of God by praying in the Spirit, continually.

PRAY
Jesus, who are you calling me to pray for and pray with in this season? I want to see others the way you see them and have the compassion that you have for the world.
