Day 7 - The Prayer of Maturity

O God my Father, I want to be a mature follower of Jesus.

Even when I am not certain what maturity is, give me wisdom to discern my path of spiritual growth.

Help me to bring my emotions to your tender care and my ongoing awareness.

Help me to check on my internal self talk.

The times when I insist on having my way, on giving in to my fears and doubts, and on lesser things which stand as evidence of my immaturity.

I do give myself anew and afresh to You.

Help me to be a glory and a reflection of Your name.
