During Jesus’ earthly ministry, he declared to Peter, “Upon this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not overcome it” (Matt 16). Jesus has continued to keep his promise: by the power of his Spirit, the universal Church has continued to flourish and partner with God’s healing work in the world.
During this sermon series, we will take a step back and reflect on what it takes to continue flourishing as Christ’s Church. We will explore 7 invitations and the promises God has made to accompany them as God continues to build His Church even today.
