New Here?

Welcome to Sanctuary Columbus Church. We hold weekly worship services on Sunday at 9 + 11 a.m. Come and visit our Connections Table in the lobby and our connection team will make you feel right at home!

What to Expect

From the parking lot to the sanctuary, to the children’s classrooms to the cafė, our hope is to warmly welcome you to a sacred place – a sanctuary – to worship Jesus, to connect with others and to journey together in a multiracial community. Our desire is that you find an authentic group of people committed to knowing God and making God known in the world.

Worship & Contemplative Practice

As a worship community, we strive to create a space where, regardless of your worship style, musical preference or religious background, you can be comfortable to express yourself as the Holy Spirit leads. As a culturally diverse church, we are intentional about our service planning to include a range of diversity in song selection, scripture reading, and invitations to respond to God. A key part of each service is the practice of contemplative moments – appointed time to silently and intentionally gaze upon Jesus, reflect and interact with Him.

Children & Youth

Children’s ministry is provided for ages six weeks through 5th grade in our Royal City Kids (RCK). We offer a Christ-Centered curriculum taught by caring and background-checked volunteers who are ready to receive and care for your children. Our youth serve with adults Sunday mornings and our youth program happens Sunday evenings during the school year.

Dress

We don’t have a dress code. We’re delighted to see you whether you show up in sweats or a suit. Our pastors are known to keep us guessing as they dress it up or dress it down. To add to the comfort, grab a cup of coffee or tea as you make your way into the sanctuary. Our greeters will help you find a seat.

Royal City Kids

Royal City Kids (RCK) serves infants through 5th grade students. It's a place where children learn to live out this purpose in classes and special events to encourage their growth.

The MX

The MX is an amazing group of middle and high school students (grades 6-12) that meets Sunday nights for Bible study, fun games and outdoor activities.
